The Challenge

A 60-person organization was on JNet's outdated POP3/IMAP infrastructure. JNet notified the company they would be closing out their email hosting, leaving the client with a hard deadline and 15+ years of archive history at risk.

The Outcome

Full cutover executed after hours. All 60 mailboxes, contacts, calendars, and files migrated to Microsoft 365 with 100% data integrity. The Challenge

A 30-person organization was trapped inside GoDaddy's federated Microsoft 365 environment — completely locked out of their own tenant administration, unable to manage users independently, and exposed to serious security gaps. GoDaddy controlled their domain, their licenses, and every setting. The client had no MFA, no proper DNS security records, and no visibility into their own environment.

The Outcome

Executed a full defederation, transferring complete domain ownership and admin control to the client. Rebuilt the Microsoft 365 tenant from the ground up: right-sized licensing selected and purchased, MFA enforced across all 30 users, Conditional Access policies deployed, DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) properly configured, and security defaults hardened to industry standards. The organization went from zero visibility to full control — with a secure, properly built Microsoft environment they actually own.

I'm David Brisk — a Tier 3 Infrastructure Engineer currently working at a leading Managed Service Provider, where I handle the most complex escalations across Microsoft 365, Azure, and on-premise infrastructure every day.

That means real-world experience across hundreds of deployments: large-scale M365 migrations, hundreds of gigabytes of data moved to SharePoint, Intune rollouts across entire device fleets, Azure infrastructure provisioned for development teams, and hybrid systems that bridge on-prem servers with the cloud.
